So NRG is holding its first fundraiser this saturday. It is set to be a wild ride of bands, burlesque, pole dancing, cupcakes, random raffle prizes, beer and girls trying not to fall off their skates and i hope it will be amazing! 
It kicks off at the Old Angel in Nottingham at 7pm and has a stella cast of lovely people all giving their time and talents for free to benefit the wonderful NRG.
It is ridiculous how much effort goes into trying to make something run smoothly and how much you will inevitably forget and will fall apart on the night, but the key to everything is to how you deal with the things that go wrong. and this is my new ethos.
I hope that people will come along and have a good time, that we will make a lot of money for the team and that everything will go off without a hitch. But in reality i would be satisfied if it didn’t end up costing us money and nobody died.
