Nottingham Roller Girls has a facebook group. After playing with Live groups and finding them a bit rubbish and this blog not being the best place for open communication (although this blog will still keep running, so if you like listening to me whitter on then please keep reading:) facebook has been utilised as nature intended. I have been getting some really positive responses from people so far (thankyou all), some excellent offers of help and introductions to lots of lovely people who may be able to help educate me in the ins and outs of roller derby all of which is amazing.
Moves on venue are in the mix, will keep you all posted.
Went out for a skate outside last night and apart from it being very cold, the ground was so rubbishly uneven i fell at one point and nearly knocked my teeth out – yikes. Think i need to start having a look into proper falling techniques and start learning to tuck and roll
